I don't think a relationship should be hard.... edit

I don't think that being in a relationship should be such hard work. I always thought that if you found the right person, it should be easy.

Edit:

Not saying that times won't be hard or there will be disagreements but the day to day of the relationship shouldn't be something that you stress about.

For example - one of my coworkers is always worried about her husband being angry and not doing something that would make him angry. my response always is, so what if he gets angry, he will get over it. ( maybe i am not explaining myself well)

Or they change and either one of the parties decides that this isn't what they want out of life. It can swing either way that is why it is best to choose a partner that has the same will power as you to make the best of your marriage and make it last.

With long term relationships you grow and change together. Sometimes, you have to work to keep that spark going. My husband is my best friend. Sure, sometimes we disagree and fight- but we always come out of it stronger. It's worth the work.

The relationship itself shouldnt be hard. Its life that challenges you both that can make it hard though.

My husbands diabetes changed a lot. He is angry at the world sometimes... I support and love him enough to change my diet with him. Even when one of is changes, the other changes to be on the same level. :) I agree with your statement. We're partners for life, for better or for worse.

I think I get what you are saying. Sure it is hard.. But you shouldn't be utterly miserable trying to make it work ALLL of the time... Means something is wrong
