3:30 am and there's a herd of elephants in the next apartment

GRRRR it never fails, new neighbors, and every night/early morning they become the noisiest family on the planet! Their kids are up and thundering around like a herd of wild animals anywhere from midnight to six in the morning. I don't complain cause I know what it's like to have kids that refuse to sleep when they're supposed to, sometimes you just can't help it, but damn!! As irrational as it is, I wanna punt those kids over a fence! My son keeps waking up cause of it everynight. I am WORN OUT!

Is there a management you can go put a complaint to? Sorry... I haven't lived in an apartment since I was 9yrs old but I can't imagine having to put up with that!

Yeah, I could complain to management, but I don't wanna get them evicted because their children won't sleep. It's the kids making the noise. I can tell, the walls are like paper. Sounds like mom has her hands full with them cause she simply cannot get them under control at night. No idea if there even is a dad, never hear/see one.

Ugg tell me about it. I live in a basement apt. and all I hear is the upstairs neighbors kids. Running jumping and god knows what else they are doing. It would not be so bad if I could talk to the mother but she does not speak english well. So I do talk to the landlady but they just don't listening.

Good luck. As for me I am hoping to find a house to rent soon.

I don't think I can do that. My son has alot of trouble sleeping at night, for awhile it was horrible. We live in townhomes. One night when my son woke up crying one of the neighbors started banging on the wall, scaring him senseless. I lost my damn mind and banged on her door till her husband answered, and told them in no uncertain terms that they just bit of more than they could chew and it had better never happen again. So, I don't wanna do the same to new neighbors.

Lo neither does this woman, her ten year old does but good luck getting that kid to talk, she's like a tazmanian devil on crack. I figure I'm gonna try to move soon anyway, so I'll just deal with it till then. Honestly I also feel bad for the woman, those kids are BAAAAAAD at night!!

I'd go talk to her. Maybe she doesn't realize you hear them.

She doesn't speak English, her eldest does but the child won't actually talk to me, she just sort grins and runs around when I try to talk to her. The kid has enough energy for an army. I am moving soon, though, so thankfully it won't be a problem much longer. Just FRUSTRATING.

What language does she speak? Maybe I can translate it for you so you can write it down in a letter & just hand it to her LOL sorry! I'm tired (just can't sleep) & I'm making stupid jokes!
