Is it appropriate to tell a mom of a kid with autism that her kid is ....
"lucky" to have her?
I'm on FB.
I have a friend that posted this pic of autism that says "What my friends think I do", "What society thinks I do", "What my mom thinks I do", etc etc (I"m sure you've seen those pics)
ANYWAY, she tags another friend and mom in the pic and says "Thought of you! Caden is lucky to have you!"
(Caden is NOT his real name, I changed it)
Anyway... that just seems like a big insult to the kid and all around MEAN thing to say.
If you have a SN child, do you think this is apppropriate?
