I have a post going about one of my daughter's names, and it got me thinking about nicknames...I have some weird ones for the girls...

Do you have any weird nicknames for your child(ren)? If so, how did they come about?

My ex still calls our daughter Tyler - Goober. I call her Ty-Dye don't know how either started but they have stuck. Our other daughter Jael is called Courtney A LOT lol. Her middle name is Courtney so when she gets in trouble we all call her Courtney. She once told a new daycare teacher "When I'm in trouble you have to call me Courtney" lol. My DH calls her Sissy LaLa sometimes because her sister and her run around the house singing the Smurfs song.

Yep. My son is known as "Woodge" and "Woozle".

"Woozle" is obvious, it comes from the Dr. Seuss books.

"Woodge" is a part of the "twin language" my twin sister and I developed as children. It refers to a cute little kid with blond hair, for example: "That woodgie little boy on the monkey bars".

: )

"Roger that. Over."

Yes, my SO came up with most of them. Here are some: snackers (SO), baby bear (me), haboo (so), booboo bear or booboo (so), habbii (so), coco (me), the boy (me). There are more he came up with that never really stuck, but we have been calling him haboo and habbii since birth, they are arabic terms of endearment or love.
