Just got back from the store, needed some drinks and low on cash. Got enough stuff to make 2 gallons of koolaid, and 6 gallons of tea for less than what I would have paid for 2 gallons of healthy juice. We normally have juice, although the kids drink only a glass or two, then drink water, tea or Gatorade the rest of day (yes, milk, too). But right now, there is no juice. I hate how expensive it is!!!
EDIT***
Ummmm, because our water is nasty!! Florida well water. Yucky!!

Nobody says healthy is cheaper... That's why poor people generally have worse health than wealthy people.

What's wrong with water? It's free. And healthier. Your example makes no sense.

Water is the healthiest thing to drink and can usually be obtained for free or nearly free.

Exactly. Juice is fine occasionally so is milk and tea. But koolaid and gatorade you might as well sit them down with a bowl of sugar to eat.

And juice is bad for you anyway. If you're buying it at the store then just buy the kool aid anyway because there's not much difference.
