Someone Called the Cops on me today For...

 Spanking my daughter in front of my home! DD is 8, and was riding her bike with flip-flops on and without her helmet. We are strict about this as my nephew suffered a skull fracture when his flip flop got caught in his chain. He didn't have on a helmet or he would've been OK. I did NOT beat my child, I hit her three times on the butt with my hand and took her bike until Saturday. 15 minutes later the cops were knocking on my door saying someone had called saying I had beat my child in public! they talked to DD, took my info, and suggested I discipline in my home from now on s othey wouldn't get called back out! REALLY???
