during pregnancy, can babys movements break your water?

what DOES break your water if it breaks on its own?

i know it sounds stupid..but im just wondering because ive never thought about it in depth.

I could be way off but I always thought it was your uterine muscles that break it.

Any severe trauma can,  or an incompetent cervix can cause your waters to rupture early....

but otherwise, until your body is ready for labor, it won't.    Your cervix is pretty closed and tight until you are closer to delivery and you also have an extra mucus plug around the opening to keep it sealed tight.

It has to do with hormones that are realesed when contractions start!
Sometimes there isn't enough and the water doesn't break, so doc haven't to break it manually
