the princess and the frog movie

I know it has been out for a minute,but did any of you moms not want ur kids to watch it. I ask because I remember this little girl on my cousins girl scout Troup said her mom would not let her watch it.someone asked why she says she doesn't know her mom just won't let her.this has bothered me cause its a really nice movie just another princess movie to me. Its different than others but its an innocent movie.

the voodoo guy made my son cry the first time lol but he asked to watch it again and was fine.

I won't let my kid watch it because of the voodoo thing. Not something I think my 4 year old should see.

A family I know didn't watch it because of the voodoo. They don't do any "magic" like Harry Potter, etc.

I have to say my kids have watched it but the scenes with voodoo man my children still dont' like. My dd loves the movie but those scenes we either skip or she goes into another room. My dd is 8 and my son is 11.

Well yeah I could understand the voodoo thing.

I know people who won't let their kids watch any Disney movie because there is always a "bad guy".  Other people I know take issue with the voodoo in The Princess and the Frog.  To each their own, I guess.

I thought that movie sucked. I didn't think anything of the voodoo thing.
