My family is taking a trip to Gatlinburg to see my half-sister. Funds are tight (as always) but we want to do some fun stuff with the kids. Lodging is free because my half-sister has plenty of bedrooms (and plenty of money just not spent on us, lol) at her house there. She keeps sending emails asking what we want to do while there and suggesting all these places, some expensive and some not as much.
Have any of y'all been there? Any suggestions on what to do without tons of money? What's the best bang for your buck there? We will be traveling with two 7 years old and two 3 year olds, all boys. Also my dad, who is in his 70s, will be there so the activities have to be family friendly.
Thanks!
P.S. Don't me upset if you see this post in another group, I need ideas.
We loved the Dixie Stampede and the aquarium. The water park was fun too but I can't remember the name of it.
We went white water rafting. Unfortunately you can't with the baby and grandpa but I think they have tubing there too.
Have fun!!!
