Getting even with your husband on fathers day

My husband ruined mothers day for me. I normally wouldn't care at all but our marrage has been kinda rocky lately. Lots of stress. Basically I got up and he snaps "do you want some pancakes?" .. no card.. no happy mothers day.. no gift.. nothing. So the day started crappy. He eventually went and got me a card .. and some flowers.. but it was still pretty shitty..

anyway.. I got him a nice card and the new silent hill game which I know he wants. My friend told me I shouldn't get him something so good when he got me something so shitty and ruined my day..

I don't think that shit is right. I want him to treat me how I treat him..It would be pretty petty of me to screw him over wouldn't it?

would you get even for a shitty mothers day with a shitty fathers day?

I've even celebrating his bday and fathers day for 4 years and I NEVER get nothing in return not even a card NOTHING. So this year he's getting just that.

He didnt tell me happy mothers day, remind my 3 yo, get a card.... nodda ( i cried the whole day) i dont even have my mom in state to spend the day with. BUT I WONT BE AS IGNORANT AS HIM! He has a card with their pics on it and my son wrote his name for the first time on it, its pretty special. Then were gonna make a cookie cake for when he comes home from work

Don't fight fire with fire. Be the bigger person, because ultimately, he knows he fucked up mother's day. So it'll make him feel bad. ;)

 I dont get anything from him for Mothers Day, and he doesnt get anything from ME on on Fathers Day.     He's not my father..

I love all of the people saying that it's "childish". It may be, but atleast it makes me laugh, and that's all that matters..

I guess I would be immature and treat him as I was treated on Mother's Day because sometimes the lesson is better showed than told.

I got a card and some homemade gifts for mothers... we didn't get my sons father anything... because my son was admitted to the hospital on friday, and we are still here :( I havent left to go get anything for him.. or my father for that matter
