Do you Guys realize how ridiculous it sounds when you say " I hate Religion"

What does that mean?

You hate that Christianity, Islam, Buddhism, Taoism, Hinduism, Gnosticism, and Atheism Exist?

Or you just hate people that follow any sort of pattern in their daily lives?

You hate that people have faith?

Or you just hate the fact that Wars have been started and the reason they gave the public was God, So you assume God starts wars?

Do you just hate that some people are rude and mean with this being the reason they Justify it?

 I don't hate religion. I hate what man has done to it in the past years.

Organized religion turns me off. In no way does that mean that I hate people who have a religion in their lives. I have faith....it just doesn't conform to any church's "requirements".

Its not the religion thats the problem ... its the things people do in its name.

my church has this saying "deny religion, demand a relationship"

theres a difference between being religious, and being your faith. (ie. chrsitian, athiest, baptist etc"

going past religion, and developngg a relationship with whomever you believe in is wat a person needs.

I don't understand how it sounds ridiculous. Even many believers acknowledge that all organized religions, even Hinduism and sects of Buddhism, have been detrimental to humankind.

I dislike any organisation that leads people to live their lives a certain way while the majority of the leaders do not. I dislike any organisation that wont include a person into their folds because of issues like race and sexuality. 

I love God. I do not think he would approve of priests molesting children, Preachers driving Mercedes while taking tithes from those who cant afford potatoes for their hungry children.

Or they have a Problem with Fundamental Baptists and carry that over into labeling it "Christianity" then go so far as to just include all of them?

First, atheism is not a religion, it is the absence of religion.

Second, I dislike religion because of the way some people use it to justify their horrendous behavior.
