Seriously? All you single moms need to understand that you are NOT a dad. You are a WOMAN. Celebrate your motherhood/parenthood on MOTHER'S day. I find it offensive that some single moms think of themselves as a father to their children.

I get that sometimes kids WANT to give you something and that's fine but, to expect or go around wishing all the single moms a happy father's day is plain rude and stupid.

Vent over.

Why do you find what someone else thinks of themself to be offensive? Is it really your business?

I get where they are coming from. But, a mother will never take the place of a father figure.

Lol I totally told my single mom friend happy fathers day today. My other friend got some t shirts about "worlds greatest dad". Both of them are the only parent in their kids lives though dad is not in the pic at all. I get they are women and I don't think they should be offended for not getting presents, but they do play the role
Of 2 parents, plain and simple.

A couple single moms I know were bummed because their kids didn't even wish them a happy father's day.

Derrrp.
