My boss just touched me!

I was on the phone with my mom, telling her about this weird bump near my collarbone.  I had my hand on it while i was talking to my mom and when i hung up my boss walked out of his office and put his hand on my collarbone.  "yeah, it's a little swollen, i'd call the doctor."

now i have to clarify that he's my age, we went through school together, as in kindergarten through 12th grade.  we've known each other our whole lives.  but now he's my boss.  is there a line? i wasn't offended at all, didn't even think twice about it until his mother started giving him shit in his office,  (she closed the door but you know how well that works)  did he cross the line, or is she overreacting?  just want some opinions.  thanks ladies!

I don't think it's a big deal. It's not like he grabbed your boob.

huh?  collarbone, as in near your neck, where the collar of your shirt would be.

Well professional wise it is best that co workers NEVER offer to touch another worker volunteerily. However, if you are not offended or feel violated, then I suppose it is not a big deal. But still, workers do need to ask first before touching.

I don't think it's weird. I have a coworker like that. It's not like he slapped your ass or something.
