Woke up out of a dead sleep and held me tonight as I found out its time for me to say goodbye to my gram... And its my birthday in 4 days. Saturday I say goodbye. He woke up 3 hrs for work and held me while I cried. He works overnight.

Fathers day-  he went out on my fathers boat with my dad and my brother while me and my step mom were prepping a seafood dinner for them.  Him and my father love each other, and it actually meant the world to me that they were able to go do their own thing and I didnt have to worry about them.  When DH and my father came home, we were gettin ready to eat and DH opened his fathers day cards and gifts, he teared up and hugged and kissed me and told me how much my card (i write very personal cards, lol) meant to him in, front of my father, stepmom, little sister, and son.  It was amazing to me!  I love that he loves his role as the most amazing man in our lives!
