My flower beds look terrible, if you can plant it I can kill it. I finally quit wasting the money and just keep fresh mulch in the darn things.

Anon~. Basic lawnmower safety rules dictate that children 6 and under are to be kept inside while mowing occurs. It is unsafe to have them outside or with you on the mower. So while you want to call someone lazy the truth lies that that person is far from lazy and a much better parent then a person who puts their children in an unsafe situation by mowing with them around.

Yep. She has yet to answer what she does with 5 kids under the age of 5 while she is spending an hour or two mowing her large front and back yard.
Nap time won;t work-because if they wake up you wouldn't be able to hear them....

Get a pack of juicy fruit gum. (It has to be that kind) Stick a piece of gum wherever you find a mole hill. The moles love it, but it kills them. You'll have no moles if you keep doing it.

I hired by little brother to do it because DF works too much to do it and I can't effectively supervise my 3 kids under age 5 while I do it.  Even though my brother mows weekly, it still looks like crap because moles have gone crazy in my yard.  I can't bring myself to actually do it, but I want to start bopping those things with a shovel for jacking up my yard.

Why don't you just mow the lawn yourself?

We have an acre, and my parents who live next door, have 2 acres.   We mow all of it....parents buy the gas :D    We have a John Deere, and I LOVE mowing, and I love to garden.  I landscaped this whole yard, pretty much by myself...had some help with the heavy lifting.   Dh recently hired a landscaper for me, b/c he's working out of town, and the yard is getting beyond me, b/c I have a lot of other things on my plate with him being gone.  Honestly, I'm a little territorial, lol....I hate those lanscapers in my space, but it's nice to have the help.

Now she's a bad parent because she hires someone to mow their yard? I really don't understand how THIS is a big deal. Lol

It's called being a parent.  I have 5 kids under the age of five and I mow the lawn.  It is very easy.

Oh,wow...that's too bad you got your lawnmower stuck up your twat sideways.  You don't know shit about me or my "laziness", so STFU anon!

You can't watch your kids while you cut the grass.  It is so hard to do, OMG.  Really LAZY, LAZY.  Your DH must be so proud of you.  Get off your ass and cut the grass

She'd flip if she knew I have hired older teens to take my kids to 6 flags.  I hate rides. i hate crowds-so off the kids used to go with a responsible older teen ( or two)  I paid for their seasons passes, and gave them another $50-$60 bucks for the day. A real win win.

Well if it needs done I'm not above walking my ass out there and doing it. So between me, my 13 yo and dh it gets done.

I pay the nice old man who takes care of the houses for our landlord. He does a great job. I have two year old twins, I would prefer to do it myself, but I can't leave them alone for even a second, and one is autistic and he will be gone in a second if I turn my back.
