My mom gave my sister up for adoption...

When I was 16 my mom told me she had a daughter, a year or so after she had me so she had to have been born in 1986 or 1987.  It was a closed adoption; my mom doesn't even remember her birthday :(

I always thought I'd see her on here or something.  But I tried to call an agency that helps find siblings that were given up for adoption, but they couldn't help me because I don't know her birthday.

All I know is that she was born in Manchester or Concord, New Hampshire in 1986 or 1987.

Anyway, that's my confession...I have a sister out there but she doesn't know she has two sisters and one brother (who was also given up for adoption).  She has three neices (soon to be four) and one nephew.

Rumor had it my parents had a girl before my older brother was born and gave her up for adoption. My grandparents refuse to confirm or deny it and tell us to talk to our parents. They refuse to admit anything. I hope you find her.

Wow, that's rough!

I would love to find her :)  My mom said she was beautiful but that's all she remembers.

I hope you get answers, mama.

I know!  I said the same thing!

She wasn't ever connected to the pregnancy, it was just -- she had sex with some drunk because someone told her not to and she became pregnant.  I don't know.

I am adopted. I have two half brothers somewhere out there.

Have you tried to find your birth mom?  I don't know how things work, obviously.  I just want her to know that I care.

I found my birth mother. She was in a grave, she died at 47. I don't really want to find my half brothers. I have my family now,and that is all I want. In my opinion, its just better to leave well enough alone.

I understand.  Thanks for being candid :)

I'm glad my brother was given up, he's turned out so well and thrived.  My mom is toxic.  To be honest, my sister is better off with her adoptive parents :)

My mother gave three of my siblings up for adoption. Two are open, and I don't think the other even knows she's adopted. I don't really know how to help though, so here's a bump.
