My mom gave my sister up for adoption...

When I was 16 my mom told me she had a daughter, a year or so after she had me so she had to have been born in 1986 or 1987.  It was a closed adoption; my mom doesn't even remember her birthday :(

I always thought I'd see her on here or something.  But I tried to call an agency that helps find siblings that were given up for adoption, but they couldn't help me because I don't know her birthday.

All I know is that she was born in Manchester or Concord, New Hampshire in 1986 or 1987.

Anyway, that's my confession...I have a sister out there but she doesn't know she has two sisters and one brother (who was also given up for adoption).  She has three neices (soon to be four) and one nephew.

I have a half brother that my mom adopted out before I was born. He is 3 years older than me. She was 18 when she had him and already had a 2 year old...my mom went through a period of time where she was trying to find him like 10 years ago (I'm 24 now). We think she did but she gave up trying because he didn't seem interested. She knew his name and stuff...people I worked with went to school with him and said we looked alike. I tried contacting him on FB and got no response. Good luck finding your sis!

Sorry you had such a shitty mom, honey. Hopefully things work out that you find her. My mom gave up my younger sister and I didn't finally find her until I was pregnant with Kaitlyn. Don't give up hope!

Thanks love.  I hope I find her too, I don't have a name...all I know is my moms name.  I wish there was a way to find her based on my mom's information :/

Your mom doesn't have any old papers or anything? She has to have something that would help you find her birthdate. Or at least narrow it down. Its crazy someone would give a child up for adoption and not have any idea on the birthdate or exact year even. Was she on drugs? I can't remember if you told me she did them or not.

No, she's an alcoholic...her memory is a bit foggy.  She left everything behind when she left her abusive ex because the state got involved.
