Thankfully! I find the holy roller type very disingenuous. I prefer to practice my faith privately and in church. I feel no need to harass anyone into my way of thinking because I would not want them hammering me with their opinions. Do unto others........

I've encountered religious fanatics who literally believe that non-christians are non-human. I had one cult... I mean church tell me that it was fine to murder, rape, torture or do anything you want to atheists because they are less than animals and deserve absolutely no rights.
It's not the norm but they are out there and they vote which is fucking terrifying.
