Yeah and thats normally a course you have to take for nursing. Once you get that certificate and get ahead a little he'll be able to skip that part of it and do the rest of his schooling. You can look into a lot of little courses like that. Phlebotomy, pharmacy tech, dental assitant. They're all quick classes and pay decent. Good luck!!

It's a Certified Nursing Assistant. You can work in a hospital or a nursing home and take care of the elderly. Seems hard at first but you get used to it reall fast. I don't know where you're located but you need to look into local offices that help fund with schooling. I'm in Michigan and there's something here called Michigan Works. They paid for my whole schooling. I believe it was $2000. It was only a 4 week course and I'm making $13/hr now. At a hospital you can make much more.

Have you looked into CNA classes? It's a 4 week course and you can make up to $15/hr depending on where you live. There's almost always a job for that anywhere. You can also go through the state and have tr class paid for if you're that bad off. There's ways to get out of that situation. Good luck to you two. It's hard but you have to be really motivated to do it.

iv never heard of that is there a site or something i can look at?

oh ok cool df wanted to be a nurse, we live in CA it sucks here right now so if df can do that really fast we can be out of this mess in no time

Then you go somewhere else. Where there's a will, there's a way. People get out of shitty situations like yours all the time, by going above and beyond.

nope...i would be to driven to better myself. is there a w-s type program around you? they help you do a resume and find a job...help train you for a job and they pay you WHILE you are in the program and then you have to do volunteer work too....you can get daycare assistance while doing this....then you can pay to get whomever their ged. and if your df is not working he needs to go back to court and get the cs put on hold until he finds another job and then get it re-evaluated.

I'm not saying you do.
I have been in much worse situations then you have and I got out of it.
It took me moving 1500 miles away and starting over but I did.
I just didn't have a child and I had my diploma.
