Bah! c'mon anon, there are ways to give fashion advice with out being offensive. Try a euphamism (I hope I spelled that right), instead of saying trashy say something like...no, no good euphamism for it, it was just totally unnecessary. You coulda just said she would look prettier without it and everyone would have known what you really wanted to say.
