with all the fighting about this topic, I am curious as the the actual demographics on this topic in our group. I added the third option because that is what I do, work the opposite shift of my DH so the kids stay home all day with one parent. if you disagree and think being watched by a family member is more like daycare and less like being at home with a parent, please explain and I will change that.

Stay at home mom, but in order to do so my husband has to travel for work so we can aford only one income.

Working opposite of dh so we don't have to send lo to day care... More comfortable with him home.

I work full time as I can make more money than my husband, he stays at home full time with our daughter (and thus probably works harder than I do!) There are some days I wish I could stay home but our situation works for us.. pretty poor on a single income but we are happy and make it work!

Im neither I'm currently a full-time student. But my bestfriend watches DD. It would be Dh but he is currently deployed can't keep an eye on her thru skype lol
