This is one of those times where its confirmed my kids take after me...sometimes I don't think things through all the way and stupid shit happens. My children have chores, my 10 yr old has to load the dishwasher and place the tab in it. Well we were out of tabs and instead of saying something to me, she fills up the tab holder completely with dish liquid...I walk in to cook dinner and there are bubbles all over and this is the inside...I told her she couldn't do that, its not the same and her statement back is "well they're clean aren't they" ...smdh...I love my kiddos but sometimes I'm worried they take after me...lol

lol that happened to me too... i was about 13 years old- we've NEVER used a dishwasher and i'm 24 now and still dont... but i put the detergent in there cuz you know- they are to be meant for dishes! the entire kitchen was bubbled over. i'm glad you took it lightly- my mom did the opposite. i havent touched- and will never touch a dishwasher b/c of that.

although, i do look forward to the day DS tries to do dishes like that. lol

I got to laugh that is amusing. I work in a group home and work eith a bunch of morons and they put laundry detergent in to clean the dishes because we were running low on dish soap and didnt have any soap for the dish washer it was an absolute mess.
