A doctor forcing his/her fingers or hands into your body, belittling you during labor and treating you like dog shit through the course of childbirth is a form of rape.  It is more than just unwanted sexual intercourse.

I must have missed something as well. I can't believe that women think these things are rape. When women say these things, it makes it a million times harder for women who have actually been raped. I wish people would think before they speak. Great post OP.

Perhaps assault but not rape. There's a difference. If I give my dd monistate 7 to relieve a yeast infection it may be stupid, but not rape. A doctor checking you during labor is not rape, he may be an asswipe, but not a rapist. Rape is about sexual sadism and control.
