How many gallons of milk do you go through in a week?

We are going through between 4-6 gallons a week....So since that is running us anywhere from $12-$18 a week in just milk....I told the kids they are only allowed 2 glasses of milk each day and if they are thirsty they can drink water...

We have three kids, but only 2 of them drink regular milk....My youngest has to drink lactose free milk and that alone is an extra $7.98 a week on top of what it costs for the regular milk....(3.99 per half gallon) so we are spending about $15.99-$21.99 in milk total

We are a family of 5

Holy crap!

Usually 1 gallon of organic milk for 3-4 people for a week. That's drinking, coffee, and cooking. Sometimes we supplement with soy milk, almond milk, or even rice milk. Hemp milk is also good.

We go through maybe a gallon a week of Almond Milk.

We've cut WAY back on our dairy consumption.

Probably about 5-7 gallons. Usually averages out to be a gallon a day, if I'm cooking with it we use more. During the summer less, probably only 4-6 a week. We are a family of 7

Quoting SiriSilasMom:

We are not milk drinkers, I only buy it to cook with. So a half gallon usually gets thrown out.
