Why is my hair doing this?

I have straight hair, I have had straight hair all my life, my hair does not hold a curl
I don't blow dry it, I let it air dry,
I don't put product in it, Unless it's a special occasion
I am growing it out from when i coloured it over 10 months ago
I usually just pull it into a pony tail and go about my day
I have used the same kind of shampoo FOREVER
I have lived in the same place forever, so It has nothing to do with the weather

I got a trim 2 weeks ago (Like less then an inch off)

So can anyone tell me, why my hair is suddenly springing in little girl ringlet curls!!! I comb my hair as normal, but after about an hour I have curls everywhere!

Hormone fluctuations can cause that.
