BRINGING BABIES INTO MOVIE THEATERS - UGGGHHH *ETA*
OK, this is a vent/question.
After many weeks my DH and I were FINALLY able to get childcare to watch over our baby so we could have a date night and watch "The Avengers," a movie we both really wanted to see.
Well, of course a mom walks into the theater with a baby! Although the baby could have been worse, it still cried throughout, which was super distracting when you're trying to listen to dialogue. Even if the mom did walk out with the baby when it cried (which she didn't do all the time), her "shhh-shing" the baby and just hearing it cry was annoying.
Just super annoyed because I feel like we were responsible and considerate of others by waiting for childcare, so why wasn't she?
Anyway, do any of you bring your babies to movie theaters? Why or why not?
ETA: I'm more specifically referring to post-matinee, adult-oriented movies (PG-13 +). I don't mind children at children movies during the daytime. That's why I avoid seeing movies during the day.
