What do you consider a big house?

I'm watching House Hunters, and this lady said "This house is 3 stories and 2500sq ft, it's a biiiiiig house." Ours is about 2200sqft, and I don't think it's big at all. The house on the show was 4 bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths.

Ours is 3230sqft and sometimes it feels too small, and others (like when I'm cleaning it), it feels too big. I feel like our home is pretty average in size ::shrug::

No I wouldn't think that was big at all. I'd consider 4,500+ big though.

Any house over 3000 sq ft is big to me.

2500 isn't biiiig to me, but it's plenty of room.

I think mine is big. Mine in the sense that we live in it. It is military housing. But we have three bedrooms, 2 1/2 bathrooms, a dining room, living room and a den and a two car garage. I grew up in a house with 6 bedrooms and three stories and I think it is monstrously huge.
