Why did you have babies close together.

I am not going to pick a fight or bash you for your reasoning.

Why did or didn't you have your babies close together?

Did you worry about the increase health risk with pregnancy so close together? Was the ob?

The only reason why I don't start TTC'ing for a 2nd is we don't have the ability to move into a larger house yet.

My 1st and 2nd are just over 3 yrs apart. My 2nd and 3rd are 17months and 9days apart. We did not plan on having our 3rd so close in age with our 2nd. With bf my 2nd I only had a few options for bc one was the depo shot which I didn't want to go back on because one of the side effects was weight gain. So I went with the other option my obgyn gave me and it made me very sick. My dh told me he wanted me to go off it because of how sick it made me. So we used condoms and well sometimes they break.  I look at it this way though God is always in control. I believe that God knew what are family needed. My dh lost his grandma ( his last grandparent) 16days before we found out we were expecting our 3rd dd. An she was born on my grandpa's bday . My grandpa passed away when I was 6.

My kids are three years apart. My reason is that it just didn't happen. lol I wasn't TTC with either of my pregnancies. If I didn't have that miscarriage in March, the baby would be three years younger than my youngest. I'm still young, and I'd prefer to have my kids spread out.

I didnt. I wanted to spend more one on one time with my baby while they were still babies before having another.

My first two are 15 months apart, and the next one came two years later.
My youngest will be born when my current youngest is 2.5.

We had a lot of reasons for wanting them sort of close.

This. Plus I am five years older than my siblings and we weren't close until we were adults because we were in different stages. I want my children to be close so they will always have a friend.

My kids are two years apart. Is that close??? I got started late and don't want to be having kids too far into my 30's. So if I decide to have a third that one will be two years apart from my youngest. Maybe less

Mine two that are close together are 16 months apart. I did it because my first was super easy and I saw her not being babyish anymore. So we had our second.

DD (just adopted) Nov 95, Dsd Jan 98, DS July 99, DS Dec 01, DS Mar 04, DD Dec 06

I love having them close together, they have each other to play with and get along fairly well. My brother and I are 20 months apart. He and my sister are 23 months, she and my baby brother are 27 months.

b.c we dont believe in bc for our family. the ob said i was perfectly healthy and my pregnancy and delivery was textbook perfect so there wasn't an increased risk. They were 15mo apart.
