To move out of your house upon turning 18 or start paying you rent?
Nope. My twin boys are in their 1st year of college. They do NOT need to worry about trying to support themselves AND their studies. They are welcome to live at home rent-free until they get their degree and until they can afford to support themselves. Worked with my 2 older DDs. And, so it shall be with these last 2 boys.
If he's 18 and graduated and is not going to college (although I really hope he chooses college!) and still living here yes I want him to give us money monthly. My husband and I have already discussed it. It would be more or less 'insurance' that he will one day move out we would just save that money until he's ready to move and give it back so that he can get on his feet.
If he's in college he will be rent free until he's done.
Depends on if they are still going to school. If they are then they can live rent free but otherwise they can get a job and pay a small portion of rent to be put away for other things in the long run. (ie saving for a down payment on an apartmentt for them)

I like that idea of giving the rent money back until he is ready to move out.

Something along these lines and I would expect her to take care of her own personal bills (i.e insurance, phone, gas)
