Spin-off- Do/did your husband "allow" you to breastfeed?

My husband was VERY supportive and encouraging when I nursed both of mine. I can't imagine being married to someone who would get mad at me or not "allow" me to do what was best for our children!!

He wouldn't have allowed me to formula feed unless there was no other option. He wants the best for our kids.

This was discussed before having kids. He wanted me to because he thought it was best for our babies.

It was not up to him, it was my choice i tried but had trouble getting him to latch on. so i tried pumping and he would not drink it so he ended up being ff.

He was incredibly supportive. He was also fascinated by it...did as much reading and research as I did.

My breasts. My decision.
End of story.

LOL! "Allow" me? I didn't even asked him. I just did it.

He never imagined anything else, though. You have a baby, you BF, what's there to decide about?

Of course. I would never marry the type of man who views breastfeeding as disgusting or as some type of sexual threat. I still breastfeed my two year old dd and sometimes when I just don't "feel" like doing it anymore he cheerleads me on to continue!

I'm trying to comprehend being "not allowed" to do ANYTHING. That's not how our relationship works, but whatever works for you!
