1 mom liked this

I take my almost 4 yr old to the bathroom every night around midnight. Tried to let him wake on his own and it didn't work last night. They have bed pad that works wonderfully at one step ahead. I have two and rotate them around as needed. Thankfully waking him at midnight has cut accidents almost out completely.

I know it's genetic, he will grow out of it eventually.

I had the same issue with my dd, she was about 11 when she outgrew it.

Does he have any neurological issues? (like ADHD)

It's not uncommon for children who do to wet the bed at that age.

get those pampers pads.  Then you dont have to change the sheets.  they stick on really well.

Heard about those, THINKING OF TRYING THEM

My 5yr old DS wets the bed, I set two alarms, one for 1am and one for 5 am bring him to the bathroom, he doesn't even wake up for the walk or while peeing... I feel your pain, I'd say limit his liquids and start bringing him to the bathroom at least twice a night
