Just finished changing my 10 year old son who wet through his pull-up and soaked his pajamas and sheets and NEVER WOKE UP!
9 here. It was mortifying, and my mother make it worse by berating me and spanking me, and humiliating me for it.
I remember waking up every morning in stark fear, and cry and cry until my mom woke up and found out that I'd wet the bed again.
It happens.

Try leaving all the.lights on at night. Apparently it prevents extreamly deep sleep and prevents fear of getting out of bed.
Not that I'm suggesting that medication is always the way to go, but we fostered my nephew for a year, and he had issues with bedwetting. His doctor prescribed him these pills, and they worked perfectly. No more bedwetting at all, no side effects.
I can't remember what it's called, but maybe you could ask your doctor, if that's something you were interested in?
Quoting heathermom77:Dr is stumped! WE have totally exausted all the rotine and limiting drinks things

That seems old to me.....especially every night and at school. Jeez. What does his doc say?
Do you do the no drinking in the evening thing?
If i were you i would wake him up in the middle of the night for a while.

get those pampers pads. Then you dont have to change the sheets. they stick on really well.

I'm currently battling with my 5 year old with this. She can go 2-3 nites without wetting the bed then she wets it! I'm gonna try the pads so I don't have to keep changing the sheets. When she does wet the bed she doesn't wake up either, she took a long time to potty train so I don't push her. All kids are different when it comes to this.
How much are they, and how many do they have?
Quoting K-Chan:
We tried them with dd. They work really well but they are expensive. So i just take her potty twice a night. It works better for us.

I used to bedwet as a child for years. My parents eventually took me to a urologist and they put me on medicine. The pills would work for a week or so and then stop working and they would then try another medicine. Eventually they did a scope and found out I was full of infection so bad that the fluid in my body was close to backing up into my kidneys. If it weren't for my parents taking me in I could have had kidney failure. If he's constantly wetting it could be something wrong other than over active bladder or deep sleep. I had no other symptoms besides the bed wetting.

they are $10 to $13 for 9. It would be great if dd could get up on her own but she is 4 and is a deep sleeper. When I take her she walks to the bathroom, pees, wipes and walks back to her room while still asleep.

Oh, that is expensive. My daughter doesn't get up on her own either, she's 5. It's a pain in the ass. I stopped buying her pull ups because those were getting to be too much, I used to buy her the Pampers Underjams.
