You guys like to sit and judge teen moms.
Have you not realized  that there are a lot of moms that arn't teen moms that are way worse.
I had my son when I was 16 I am now 21.
I was kicked out of my dads and moved into my moms.
I paid her rent and also paid for my sons own diapers and formula.
I paid for my own daycare*which I worked at as a part of my childcare course since my highschool had a daycare inside of it not for highschool students but I was the only one that tried*
I graduated in 2009 when I was 18 never got held back and didnt drop out to run to my GED.
I got pregnant that fall and had my second son in July 2010 and went to college that septenber where my boyfriend of both kids supported us so I could.
He proposed in December we got married in May*we been together since we were 15.*
We own a house,  two cars.
We have two wonderful children and I am almost done with college.
We also have a new dog that was rescued which we named Sir Barks Alot as you can probably tell he barks a lot lol.

My sister is 37, has a 9 year old and a 1 year old.
She never bathes them.
Her house is disgusting
She sleeps with the married man next door
We cleaned her fridge when she was in the hospital and found maggots in the fridge.
There was trash all over the floor.
Her son even puked in her car and she just wiped it never cleaned it...
Her daughter is 20 months and still doesn't walk and she doesn't bring her to the doctors since she doesnt have health insurance.
Something is clearly wrong
My nephew stats he beats her but then when dyfs questions him he lies...
and other misc things....

But according to you guys just the fact that I was 16 when I had my son made me the WORSE mom.

*** OKAY so there are a lot of repetitive questions...
1. I called CPS 3 times it took them till the 3rd time to do something.
2. I do NOT know the fathers name.
3. I never said my life was easy and that I didn't struggle.
&& if you must want a list of the struggles I had then fine!

I struggled with being pregnant and fitting into the desk in class
I got made fun of specially since my DH didn't go to my school
I lived in a car for 6 weeks because I was scared to tell my mom that my dad kicked me out.
I struggled paying for daycare diapers and formula, but still managed.
I never went out with my friends and lost almost all of them.
We had trouble thinking we could afford our mortgage payements in a year of owning our house because DH got laid off
We have our cars only because we KNOW people, and in my DH's job he got close to owners of dealerships
Theres some weeks where I eat barely anything to give our children food instead of myself.

There happy? You know my struggles...
But I MADE it.

I'm the one who calls DYFS. I don't know what else I can do other then that.

Quoting JADIEBUG:

Also if it is true it makes OP and her family no better for not doing something for those poor kids.

Quoting MamaTasha08:

Is you sister mentally ill?  What you said about her is disturbing.

No offensive but you should call cps, to get her motivated to take care of her kids that's not cool.

Oh yes becuase it's so easy to just take a grown woman and MAKE her get help, it's so easy to take her children away from her too. You are so naive.

I don't know... I think she just doesn't care.

Quoting LovelyDayz:

Great for you, maybe she is depressed though! Who knows the cause to as why she is this way. You are judging just like the others.

You didn't make a responsible choice at 16 IMO . That does not make you a bad mom .
