Another reason why i hate cops....

note i do not hate ALL cops and i personally have NEVER been in any legal trouble. but i have good reason to have a strong opinion. Where i live the sheriffs department is an extremely corrupt organization. the most recent of my reasons for hating the cops here??
my stepfather was arrested for driving on a suspended license ( i know hes an idiot im not arguing that fact, its suspended for unpaid tickets from a state he lived in years prior that were mailed to his parents who never told him about the ticket , his parents are real shitty people, but still no excuse).
as my step father was being arrested he told the officer to please let my mother know he was being arrested and where the car wasbecause he didnt have any phone number for her to let her know. the officer said " i don't give a fuck about you or your wife." my step father then informed the officer of his heart condition and his bad back and that he has disability and needs his medications. the officer then cursed at him telling him he will get no fucking medications and my stepfather said "i will have a stroke if i dont have my medications please just take me to the hospital so i can confirm my health issues to you and get my medication" the sheriff then said "You want to play that fucking game lets play! get the fuck in the car and shut up or you will have so many fucking charges you will never get out of jail asshole."
now my step father is NOT a hostile man. he doesn't back talk he isnt a disrespectful person and doesn't have issues with cops. He tried very hard to be polite the entire time he was in jail.and he has NEVER been in any legal trouble before. yet things got way worse once he got to jail.
he wont tell my mom everything the cops did to him but told her of a few incidents ( mind you he was only in jail three days.) there was only one other white man in the jail between both inmates and guards included and they got alot of abuse from officers ( yes this is important in this instance. he was forced to strip down and stand in the middle of a room full of guards naked for 20 minutes while cops ridiculed him. he passed out ( form not having his meds) two cops sitting at desks eating ignored him as he hit the floor, when he got up off the floor he was disoriented he said "who hit me?" and the cop then lost it on him saying "who hit you? shut the fuck up fat ass white boy or you will never see light again." then then striped him down and through him in his cell naked for around 10 hours. any time he asked a question he was told to "shut the fuck up whiteboy or your ass is going in the fucking hole!" he was forced to strip and be naked several other times( he wont talk about what they did to him he just cries) he was told that if he didnt plead guilty to having a controlled substance as well as driving on suspended licence that he will never get back in this country again and they will make sure of it ( he is from Germany but here legally and has been here since he was 20 years old ( hes now in his 50s).
i get that prisoners are criminals, but this was abuse, this was humiliation and racial abuse against a man who had no violent crimes at all and was not a out of control inmate. my family can do nothing!!! if we fight for justice they will create charges and pursue my family for exposing them. My step father is destroyed. he sits home crying and wont talk about what was done to him. these "officers of the law" have broken this man and destroyed him. it makes me sick that this kind of stuff goes on and there is NOTHING that can be done to protect the victim of there corrupt racist officers.
NOte: we are not racists we do not hate anyone for there skin color but what these officers did was racist against a man because of his color. regardless of weather it was a white cop attacking a black man or a black cop attacking a white man its racism nd its wrong!!!
I hear what you are saying and agree that there is great corruption in our "legal" system!!! We have issues in our county too with police making poor choices and ruining peoples lives for their enjoyment!! I am so sorry your dad had to endure this - give him time he will get stronger!!!
That's terrible. File a complaint STAT! And document everything in writing, dates, times, etc.
im sorry you are that naive to believe that guards cannot get away with this, and im even more sorry that anyone would think someone would make things like this up. my stepfather sure wishes i made it all up.

even though my mother is afraid to presue this she sid she will be. she told me she recorded when she called up to the jail beause they were so nasty to her prior and refused to give her information or do anything about his meds . so she called back later and recorded her telling them about his health conditions and how he needs his meds or he will die... they told her he will get no meds for 30 days and thats policy, she then told himm hell be dead by then without his meds and they hung up on her.

also they do not give medication for 30 days ( according to the sherifs department) my mother informed them he will die without his medication and tried to explain his conditions but was ignored and hung up on. she then called them back recording them , telling them about how he needs his meds again and when they tried to ignore her she told the sherrif to do his fucking job.... but they still refused to give him meds
