While cleaning my youngest son's ears he jerked hard and I didn't get the q-tip out fast enough.
It resulted in him screaming like a banshee and bleeding in his ear. So we are waiting in fast track at the er.
I hope everything is ok.
Update: he has a contusion on his ear drum. Since it is a thin layer of skin the bruise bled a bit. Doc says it looks like nothing major. Just keep a close eye on it and have it rechecked in a couple of days. So tomorrow morning I am going to attempt to make an appt for Thurs.

Thanks. I am just hoping I didn't do any damage. He is ok right now and the bleeding has seemed to stop so fingers crossed.

Surprisingly he isn't in pain. I swear this child has a high tolerance for pain. He had aHORRIBLE double ear infection a while back. I didn't know until I took him to the doctor for something else.
They said he should have been screaming non-stop for how bad they looked, but he never showed any signs of his ears hurting.
