No better than a bible thumping Christian, IMO.

As an ex-angry atheist, I understand that line of thinking. One gets so angry that the other people are pushing their religion on the masses via bills and legislature. Then when the other religions refuse to accept verified proof, it can drive you a bit batty.

I've recently changed religions all together, having finally been sent the proof of another religion. I'm not sure if I believe in a god yet, but I am sure that energies exist and I'm exploring the concept of a god-figure.

Why do you care of people believe in God? I am Christian but I've never once tried to convert anyone. Quite the opposite. Be atheist but don't tell me my beliefs are crap.

I don't consider myself an intolerant atheist. I am surrounded by the religious every day. I am used to it. I am the only atheist in my family of origin and we all get along just fine. I am actually still closeted to all of them but one, and she was the one that kicked me to the curb over my atheism.

respect my "beliefs" and you'll get respect, but when you start attacking my "beliefs" and i defend myself dont turn around and say "the atheist was attacking me"

just my thing ^.^ im very tollerant of others beliefs but like i said if they attack my lack of beliefs then they lose all respect from me

I don't care what you believe in. In fact, I'm not even sure what I believe in.

I was just saying that an atheist pushing their views on others is no better than the bible thumping Christians who go door to door to convert and save the masses.

I'm neither.
