fire hazard?  yes but fireworks can be lit responsibly.  We got a large pack and have family coming over.  Beats sitting in traffic to see a big show.

No, we're in Japan so I don't even know where to buy them yet. And they canceled the base fireworks show because it's always been rained out previous years. Of course now today was a perfectly beautiful and sunny 4th. Lol!!

Sooo according to you only idiots and criminals buy fireworks? That's stupid. They are perfectly legal in my state as long as you follow the laws (no fireworks inside city limits).

 This is the first Forth they are legal in my state. Pray for us...lol Actually, nine people were just hurt in NH. The youngest victim of the FW incident that nearly burned down the house? A INFANT. Can you even imagine? Not cool.
