So lately I have been getting depressed over nothing and having suicidal thoughts. I won't ever go through with them but they pop into my head anyways. Well they say I was bi polar or am bi polar but I think my bi polar is more like a handicapped bi polar LOL. Hard to explain. Anyhow I used to be suicidal and always negative, depressed, and hated my life and really felt hopeless I would succeed or be anything worthy....

I got tired of therapy which I had been doing since grade school and the medications that made me feel like a zombie that I still had no motivation to do anything. I also danced and taught dance (although while I was doing it I felt good and focused) but not doing it I would go back to being depressed, moody as hell...

What I did was (btw I was lucky to be SAHM) got myself involved in things I really liked and attracted me like painting, teaching painting, floral designing, crafting, doing dance, teaching dance, I mean I was always busy but I would do something for about a year the  start a new hobby. It helped me over come my depression and anxiety kept me focus but I got dependent on that. I also had to learn to over come my anger and resentment attitude towards my family and people that I felt have treated me wrong or badly.

I dunno i had to learn a lot of things, learn to be tolerant, patient, I also had to learn how to HUG people, say I love you, be confident and avoid things that make me nervous or I did not have enough faith I could do it, although I would take risks if I was comfortable and often did well when I did. I also had to learn how to get along with people (yes literally) by changing my thinking that people do not like me or being paranoid that people do not like me and learn to deal with people that really did not like me.

I have had a very good life I am very confident (in my comfort zone LOL) and very outgoing, cheerful, I love people, I can hug and all that jazz but I am still moody.

Unfortunately when you suffer from bi polar or similar mood swings are just really hard because little things can set it off or things build up. You also have to learn to start ignoring your obsessive thinking (obsessing with what you dont have done what you need to have done or what makes you nervous) and then you got the procrastination behavior that sets off your anxiety because you dont want to deal with bills or cleaning or your towels not folded right LOL.

I dunno if you have similarities of what I said here but it took me many many years to get where I am, and I still have a lot I could improve yet. It is possible but its really hard. Strong motivation usually the step and getting back up and staying out of the lows and highs, again really hard but it can be done. I am finally balanced, btw I often over did things and was often in my highs if not high I would go too low. I am pretty balanced now.

i wasnt until you started using key words that show intent to sarcasm such as quoting issues, which generally is taken as minimizing or mocking it. i am not bitchy though at all. depression doesnt equate to that either. i am in a normal mood atm too so you cant say its depression, i think you need to look at the tone of your words before you type them because they are coming off really childish.

:/ its really the last option. i also worry about tolerance level bc i have an extremely high tolerance for medication that makes it null to take it after a few times or raise the dosage which is detrimental to my body on a long term aspect. i will talk to my doctor though in a week or two if it seems to not be lessening or getting worse.
