Today marks 10 years since I moved from Thailand to America! So July 5th is my independence day! Lol
:)
Yayyy! What made you want to come here? Or did you come here with your parents or something? I'd like to visit Thailand one day.

I just wanted a better life. My family was very poverty stricken and there was a lot of crime where I lived. I always wanted a family but I didn't want my children growing up the way I did. 2 of my sisters moved with me and eventually we moved my parents over here. It can be a very beautiful place.
My dh is from Thailand. Do you miss living in Thailand? What do you miss the most? We live in a large city and can get all kinds of imported food products so we are lucky in that department but I imagine if you live in a smaller town some food items might be hard to come by. Funny whenever he goes back for a visit how much he complains about the heat and traffic, I don't think he could ever live there again.
Well it's great you were able to make a better life for everyone here! My husband and half of his family immigrated from Costa Rica, he's been here for about 11 years.

I don't miss it much. We live in an area that has a few stores with international food. I miss some of the simplicity.
That's great! Its nice to see so many who have changed their lives by coming here :)
