My 6yr old DS might have gotten stung by a bee. My DH & I picked up our boys from my dad's today & DS kept saying he got stung by a bee but his foot seemed fine up until bed time after getting out of his bath he went to lay down for 2min & cried real bad. Right now his foot is so swollen & red & it looks like he got bite 2x. I gave him trimanic (sp?) just incase he starts running a fever. He doesn't want to go to doctors :(

I would go if its swelling badly. A little around the sting it one thing, but much more than that I would rather be safe than sorry

Benadryl then ER (or urgent care? I don't know what options you have in your city)  or does your ped's office have an after hours phone line. Maybe call that if they do..

How's his breathing? If he's truggling for air, you need to eithercall 911 or get him to the er.

Look at his foot n see if the stinger is still in it. If it is, you need to get it out

Thank you ladies! I gave him benedryl right now & DH is coming home from work so he can take care of the boys while I take DS to the docs.
