If $520 a week is your take home pay, I think that is quite reasonable. That would be about 28% of your income which is pretty reasonable.

He brings home about $420 a week out of his $600 check. We were paying $650 for a four bedroom house, we moved to a larger (space wise), more open 3 bedroom house and are paying $325 a month now. So yeah, if I found a house in the right area I would do it.
