So my ex boyfriend got locked up 2 years and he comes home in about 4-5 months. When he was in the county jail, I would go with his mother to visit him almost every weekend.

Well about a year into his bid, i just stopped writing him. i got fed up with the writing and the need to just write him all the time so I stopped. He kept writing me and after all he saw that i wasn't responding he stopped writing as well.

After about 6 months I started thinking about him again and decided to write him. I wrote him to see how he was doing etc. and he told me he had found someone else. He said that one of his "friends" had told him about a girl who was looking to write someone so they started writing and they still are now.

We've been sending letters back and forth since about Feb. or March. I know that he's writing her and we have both decided that we are not together. However, in the last couple of letters, he's been talking about us getting back together and starting over.

The problem is: An old friend came around about a month ago and we've been sleeping together off and on for the past month, before him I haven't been with anyone sexually in almost 2yrs.

We've always used protection so pregnancy or STD's isn't the issue but i know that he and I won't ever be nothing but fwb's. Do you think I should tell my ex now while he is still locked up or wait until he comes home for a face to face conversation?? Thanks ladies.

THe ex should stay an ex.

You have no reason to tell the ex what you have done when you were no longer together.

Go your own seperate ways. You are no longer together.
He found someone else, I am sure he doesnt care what you have been doing.

And if you do get back together, this happened while you were not so it doesn't matter.
