Dh's friend Came over and brought his son . He also brought a cousin. The 2 boys were 7 and 6. The cousin was the 6 yr old. The boys all played fine together. I was down on the floor setting up a racetrack for the boys to play with. The 6 yr old comes right next to me....
I was a bit taken back at the BO this 6 yr old had. I have never come across a child with BO like that.

Anything specific that causes it? Or is it just their chemical balance?

My 7 year old has BO. I put deodorant on her and it takes care of the problem.

It usually started with puberty in my house with my bunch. Otherwise they would be ripe on hot summer days after playing and not bathing. Kids go through an extreme bathing stage folowed by a lack of bathing stage.

There was a 3 yr. old girl I cared for years ago that had bad BO. She smelled fine when she had just had a bath, but within an hour or two, she got really stinky. It seemed so odd to have BO that bad so young, but I guess it happens.
