They are free courses that are self certified, you do it online and if you get 80% or more you get a printable certificate

I think that if you are searching for a job that uses typing skills or computer skills it doesn't hurt to utilize these courses as a way to brush up on those skills. You could also present the certification to the potential employer as proof that you are willing to learn to get the job.
