Now to settle the score, I'm going to have to watch one of his chick-in-spandex-kicking-everybody's-ass or some lame late-80s/early90s movie that makes him feel nostalgic. Hooray.

Yes and NO. But we alternate who picks the movie.
I hate that movie.
Some movies DH and I can watch, some not. He likes horror movies and I always pass on them, can't stand them. But we like the newer comic book movies, superman, the avengers, iron man, spider man, ect. He doesn't like dramas like me, we do like some of the older musicals like meet me in st. Louis and white Christmas. We have a diverse collection.
I have a room off of the living room that is my craft/office room and I go in there to make my jewelry, there is a door that goes into the living room and a seperate door that goes through the bathroom to the kitchen, or if I turn right I can go into the basement, or left the pantry. I love it because the cats and I can disappear for a while. =)

We do have some movies we like, but mostly not.
