while we are going through the counceling no one is having sex. mosty anyways, a few slip ups here and there. LOL its coming along splendidly. where i am weaker at house things, she is stronger. good match

Me too.  I haven't slept through the night since Friday.  I can not roll over because of the metal in my back, if I do roll over I can cause my foot to break without knowing it.  I've literally laying in bed on my back for the last 4 days.  My neighbor is coming over tonight to watch movies with me in my bed :(  Maybe I will be able to sleep on my side so she can watch my foot for me.

So I had a spinal fusion on Friday.  They took my discs completely out, put a cage in between my vertebrae, cranked it open, filled the cage with my own bone marrow that they extracted (herein lies the problem.  They usually take it from a dead person.  In the middle of the procedure the drill they were using, the battery stopped working.  The doctor hand to hammering through bone with his hands and tools.  During that process the doctors misplaced my nerves (they moved them over too much) and smashed them causing paralysis in my left leg.  I can not feel my knee down.  If I roll over and the foot is bent the wrong way because I can't feel if it's straight I can break it.  I can't even lift my back to see if the foot is positioned the right way.  So at night my DH has been taping it to a pillow so it doesn't lean over and get twisted.
