I live in an itty bitty town in indiana. In january i went to tampa florida for 3 weeks. They,thought indiana was nothing but cornfields. What do you think of when you hear indiana?

I lived in KY and OH most of my life.  They think it is flat farmland, not JUST cornfields.  =)  I live in Vegas now.  Talk about misconceptions of where you live.  "Oh, which casino do you live in?"  That's pretty much how it feels.

Amish apple butter and fresh zucchini bread, I grew up in a little town in Indiana and have been craving that stuff lol

This is going to show my age a bit. I think of Indianapolis, then I think of the old television show One Day at a Time, then I think, "that's awful the whole state isn't like that! What else is there?" Then I think of Gary, Indiana, then I mentally sing the song from The Music Man, then I remember that the Jacksons were from Gary, Indiana, then I wonder if the accusations against Michael Jackson were  really true or not, then I think it is still sad that he died with unrealized potential, then I think of his doctor who was charged with his death and got more time than a lot of worse criminals, then I think of the prison system and how it often turns small time criminals into expert criminals, then I think I shouldn't stereotype like that, then I think is it a stereotype? Or is that the wrong word? Then I think I should ask someone on Cafe Mom, then I think it would just turn into a debate about whether ex-cons should be entitled to public assistance, then I think....

Ummm, maybe you shouldn't have asked. LOL
