What is something/are some things that your kids have said that was hysterical, cute or mortifying?
DS4 was waiting at the end of the driveway with me, picking dandelions that had gone to seed and blowing on them. I told him he was supposed to make a wish when he did that, and he immediately says "I wish for more dandelions!"
DS7 was about five at the time, and walked into his grandma dressing. He asked her "What's that?" and she explained to him that it was a bra. He asked why she wore it, and she explained it was to help hold them up and keep them comfortable.
He and his brother come home. Out of DS7's mouth "Mom, are you wearing a bra?" Confused by this, I answered "Noooo... why?" (I was cleaning and didn't have it on), and he proceeds to say "Well you need to wear one to hold your boobs up and be more comfortable!"
I almost died of laughter.
My husband was stuck in traffic and pretty darn frustrated because of it and my son said "dad, slow and steady wins the race" it was pretty funny.
I had taken both of my kids to the store. I was pushing a cart, and this guy behind me pushed through me and my kids. I was pissed but I didn't say or do anything. DS7 goes, in his loudest possible voice "Wow, how rude! Learn some manners!" I was mortified. I told DS7 that it was rude to say things like that. DS7 says "Well he is rude mom. You say excuse me!"
Lucky for me the man did not stop or say anything.
A few months ago, DS7 was doing some push ups on the floor. I asked him why. He says "I'm trying to get buff."
