Is it okay for your husband not to wear his wedding ring? Why or why not?

Mine takes his off if he goes to the range or is working on machinery. Other than that he wears it all the time.

Sure, it's a personal choice whether an individual chooses to wear a ring or not.  Most couples decide this right from the beginning - after all, why buy a ring if you're not going to wear it?

Yes. My dh can't wear his due to work. Everyone knows he's happily married.

I don't mind. My husband can't wear his during work, because they're getting them ready to work with electricity. They have to get used to wearing nothing metallic, he even got special boots.

He does and always has but if he chose not to, I would be fine with it. I did not wear one for about 6 years. I started wearing my mom's ring after she died.

Wearing a ring does not make one married. Being committed to one's mate does.

If he expects you to wear yours, he needs to wear his. Besides working, showering, ect.

Mine has to take his off for both his jobs . I don't wear mine because I haven't gotten it sized since I gained weight.
