Kid will be 4 in Dec. I swear this kid has drooled since the day he was born. At his 2 wk check up the doc was amazed at all the drool.

It was like 6-10 bibs a day until he was like a little over 3 yrs and NOW within the last month or 2 the drool has come back. Its constant all day and night. Doesnt an almost 4 yr old look funny in a bib.

Ideas on why he drools so much?

is there possibly a reason that he would be avoiding swallowing? possibly swollen adnoids?

Im not sure. He has an appointment with his pedi soon.

But 2 yrs ago when he had tubes put in they said he had abnormally large adnoids.

Im also wondering if it can be a sign of gerd.

It could be a small reaction or he could have swollen tonsils and is refusing to swallow because it painful? Same with allegy drainage.

I don't drool lol but I hold my salvia a little longer when my throat is a little sore. I get a sore throat often, my tonsils are huge and cause me lots of issues.
